Webinar Review: RESILIENCE: Overcoming Adversities

This webinar without a doubt the most unique seminar i seen with its 3 hour run time and it being made in the Philippines by students! Now to be fair to it its more like 2.5 hours as there is a waiting for the webinar to start period and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem period.

How many webinars include a singing of an anthem?
I choose to watch RESILIENCE: Overcoming Adversities , a webinar aimed at addressing mental health concerns and fostering resilience because of its unique status As I watched the webinar, produced by Filipino students and conducted in English, I was hoping to gain valuable insights and unique perspectives(or as much one can from an old covid era armature webinar made by students) . However, to my disappointment, I found the overall experience to be slow-paced, lacking in distinctive content, and not particularly impressive. Although i obviously admire the goal.

One of the key aspects that stood out during the RESILIENCE webinar was its sluggish pace. The presenters seemed to struggle with maintaining a dynamic flow, making it difficult to remain engaged throughout the session. The lack of a sense of urgency or excitement rally took away from the experience, i am shamed to admit it but it is hard to watch this without a phone on hand to scroll thrue once and a while.

Furthermore, I found the mental health information discussed to be rather generic and not particularly unique. While it is essential to address mental health concerns and promote resilience, the content presented in this webinar did not offer any groundbreaking insights or interesting approaches. It seemed to cover the basics.

The bread and butter of Mental Health advice but not very unique

As a webinar created by Filipino students and conducted in English, I appreciated the effort to cater to an international audience. However, there were moments when I felt that the presenters were struggling with their fluency and articulation. This language barrier occasionally impeded the clarity of the information being conveyed and resulted in a less impactful delivery overall. But to be honest it wasn't that big of a deal.

In conclusion, the RESILIENCE: Overcoming Adversities failed to meet my expectations due to its slow pace and lack of unique mental health insights. While the webinar aimed to address important topics, it fell short in delivering a memorable and impactful experience(which i humbly think it should deliver). Moving forward, it is crucial for similar webinars to focus on engaging and dynamic content, incorporating fresh perspectives and approaches to effectively empower viewers in their journey towards resilience and mental health otherwise... the wisdom might be lost to the air while the "watcher" is looking at their phone.

If yoou so wish to watch this slow burn here is the video.
